I have never been to a lolita meet up! That is not because I haven't been wearing lolita for very long, it is because there is not even one other lolita in my whole city. Here is a map to show you what I'm talking about:
I don't know of any other lolitas in the South Island of NZ unfortunately, and if there is any I would definitely be interested in meeting them. Though, sadly, the chances are slim. I hope that one day I can go to Wellington (where the lolita community is) for a meet up some day. I imagine that lolita meet ups are so lovely and it saddens me to hear that some lolitas don't go to meet ups because they simply can't be bothered. I have no one to spend time with in real life that shares my love for lolita and I am so jealous of everybody who does. If you are part of a lolita community, please be so thankful for what you have! You are so lucky so make the most of it. Care to share? Have you been to a lolita meet up? How was it?

ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog while googling about NZ lolis (I'm bored, and have too much time, so yeah XD). Finally, a loli from the South Island! I'm from Malaysia, but I'm going to Dunedin this February to pursue my degree at Otago. Maybe we can have a mini-meetup someday!
