Tips for busty lolitas!

This post is to give you my personal tips on how to take emphasis off your bust and stay comfortable as a full-busted lolita (: It is by no means a set of rules - it's up to you how you wear it!
When you have big boobs, high waisted skirts can really emphasise them! They make your waist look slimmer, also making your bust look larger.

When shopping (especially online) try to avoid just fitting the item. Giving yourself a few extra centimetres will ensure a better and more comfortable fit.
A lot of blouses don't have shirring - that can make them uncomfortable. Blouse-style cutsews are always an option! They're most often made from stretch fabric and can fit multiple sizes.
Jabots and bust detailing attract attention - it's best to avoid these if you can.

Huge waist bows that are not detachable are not so great - they can hide the waistline of the dress! You will need the waistline definition to avoid looking a little 'blobby' or sack-like.
Beware of cleavage when wearing an OP like the one pictured above!
Dresses like this Mary Magdalene jsk don't quite sit right on a bigger bust! This one is a good example - can you imagine a D cup in that tiny boob space?! The gathering around that's just the bust panel brings a lot of attention to that area, too.

Shirring is your best friend! Because;
Extra movement space
Range of sizes
A jsk for example, will still be comfortable with different/ thicker undergarments and blouses etc.
Gives an item opportunity to fit without looking like it's about to burst
The jsks pictured above and below are "baby-doll" and "empire waist" dresses. These do not look good on a larger bust, usually. They often end up looking sack-like and drape down from the bust in an unflattering way.. it's a shame, because they're pretty cute.
If you feel like you're missing out on cute details by avoiding bust detailing-covered dresses, there are other ways to get the fanciness! Check for fancy details on;
Sleeves of blouses, OPs and cutsews.
Bottoms of dresses and skirts.
Accessories like hand bags, head wear, socks, wrist cuffs and shoes.
Look out for dresses like the one pictured above. It has a reasonably long bodice - these are great. "drop waist" dresses will also do your bust justice. The problem I find with regular shaped dresses is that they're supposed to sit at your waistline, but by the time the bodice covers your boobs it's on your rib cage D:

Don't feel bad about the shape of your body and never change it to fit clothing - just find clothing that flatters they way you are and enjoy yourself (: There's no need to feel discouraged because you aren't quite 'typical' or 'standard sized'
I hope this post was helpful! Feel free to add anything I missed in the comments or ask any questions you may have n__n thanks for reading!
